Am Sonnabend und Sonntag wurden im Olympia-Stadion zu Berlin die Deutschen Leichtathletik-Meisterschaften ausgetragen.

Mit 1,63 m, nur 2 cm unter der Welthöchstleistung, siegte beim Hochsprung der Frauen Fräulein [Dora] Ratjen (Bremen).

Quite a head of hair, if "Hermann" (or perhaps "Dora"?) is the person in this photograph. Allegations have been nastily rumored about (by "the usual suspects," perhaps?) that one or more German Olympic teams had men appearing as women, to assure gold medals for Germany in that particular sport.
